Since spring, God has guided us to focus our attention on Abrud City in Alba County, a place where we wanted to open a mission point and plant a Pentecostal church. There was already in Abrud a Baptist church, but it had some problems and didn`t evangelize and also a small charismatic house group located in a peripheral side of the city. Also in Abrud City, we met Oliver, a Pentecostal pastor that lives in Abrud but the churches he ministers are in the country side. He shared to us his desire and prayer that a church would be planted in his hometown. We found and rented a space in a central area and after improving the interior, in the middle of June, we officially inaugurated the church. Between august 30th-september 3rd, we held evangelizing campaigns. Around 400 people were approached on the street. At our evening programs attended approximately 100 people every night. We distributed over 300 Bibles. God has worked with great power and people were touched by the Word of God. Services are held every week in Abrud and people are starting to attend the church where our brother Oliver Sturza works as a Holy Fire Ministries missionary.
